St Matthew's RedhillHeritage Weekend
HERITAGE OPEN DAY 2025 – St. Matthew’s is once again taking part in this event, where historical buildings throw open their doors to the public.
This year, the theme is Architecture, and St. Matthew’s is a fine example of a Victorian church, and also one of the few Victorian buildings left standing in Redhill!
We will be open on Saturday 20th September from 10am – 4pm
The local history group will be here with their collection of many pictures of the history of buildings in our town. There will be some children’s activities and a church trail.
In order to provide a welcoming environment for our visitors, we will need some stewards to be available whilst the church is open. There will be a rota at the back of church for you to sign up. You only need to be here for one hour, and there must be at least two people on duty at any one time. Families might like to join together to do this.
